Winning Together is a no-cost
couples-based program
for problem gambling

Gambling may affect your family in ways you do not expect.

“I thought I could afford it, I didn’t have
a problem. When my wife complained,
I thought that it was her  problem.
Gambling was messing up my  family
– I just didn’t see it at first.”

Winning Together: A gambling treatment program for couples

  • Currently only offered in Brisbane
  • Confidential
  • Voluntary

  4. Regular feedback throughout the program.

Winning Together is a Research Project

This projectis is run by experienced, qualified psychologists at Griffith University. The project aims to test different  ways to help problem gamblers.  If you agree to take part you will be assigned by chance to either one of 2 programs:

  1. Individual Program: Sessions will be with the gambler to help them reduce or stop their gambling

  2. Couple Program: Sessions will be with both the gambler and their partner to help the gambler reduce or stop gambling. It also helps the couple to work together to achieve this goal.

If you can't attend sessions in Brisbane, or if you are single, consider the program "Improving the Odds".
